Be A Pal Program
Though he’s been here for years, he will only let a select few get near him or touch him. There’s no telling what humans did to him in his previous life, but it must’ve been bad. Cute as he can be, Ace will remain at ARFhouse for the rest of his life due to his unrelenting fear of humans. He’s no youngster, but runs around with his pen mates as if he is just a pup. Ace was dropped off at ARFhouse with another dog by a good Samaritan who had seen the dogs running loose on a highway. Being two males, we had to separate them because they did not get along well with each other. Ace does; however, get along well with female dogs. He now lives in a large yard with two females and enjoys running, chasing and eating! We continue to work with him, but some dogs (unfortunately) never get over their fears.
