Be A Pal Program
Nilla came to ARF as a stray with her mother, a good Samaritan contacted us to see if we would take them. Because of their sweet nature and good looks, we knew we could place them easily. Nilla’s mother was quickly adopted but we’ve had difficulty placing Nilla over the years. We believe it is because of her stand-offish personality. She is very sweet, but she’s uninterested in humans for the most part. She doesn’t have the pizazz that some of our adoptable dogs have that radiates when you first meet them. Sometimes being super laid back can be a blessing and a curse. Nilla is older now, we think around 7 or 8, so taking that into consideration, she will likely end up a lifer, although we are always hopeful there is that special someone who is just perfect for her.
