Be A Pal Program
The name sounds ferocious, but this guy is nothing but a big lover. Wolverine was tied up to our front gate one morning, no note, nothing. Although his looks and size can be intimidating, we quickly realized that there was not a mean nor aggressive bone in his body. He came right in and made himself at home. When we posted a picture of Wolverine online, we were contacted by another rescue group in Grayson County who recognized him as one of their dogs that they had adopted out. The people who adopted him ended up rehoming him because he can jump an 8-foot fence. We suppose the people who ended up with him couldn’t keep him in either, so they dumped him on us. He has been to several adoption events, and does great, but the jumping can be a bit of a turn off to most. Being difficult to place, he may be with us for the remainder of his life.
